Suspect When people talk about a computer's "speed", they mean how fast it can process data.

Suspect In other words, this mean the speed the computer can turn data into information.

Suspect Every microprocessor contain a system clock.

Suspect The system clock controls the speed of all the operations within a computer.

Suspect The speed of the clock is measured by how many cycles per second the clock makes.

cyclops Hertz(Hz) and seconds cyclops

Like a Star @ heaven 1 hertz(Hz)= 1 cycle/1 second

Embarassed Megahertz(MHz) Embarassed

Like a Star @ heaven 1 MHz= 1 000 000 cycles/1 second

Shocked Gigahertz(GHz) Shocked

Like a Star @ heaven 1 GHz= 1 000 000 000 cycles/1 second
Like a Star @ heaven 1 GHz= 1000 MHz
