Idea Information processing cycle is the sequence of events in processing information, which includes
(1) Input (2) Processing (3) Output (4) Storage.


1. Input - Entering data into the computer.
2. Processing - Performing operation on the data.
3. Output - Presenting the result.
4. Storage - saving data,programs, or output for future use.

The collection of raw data from the outside world so it ca be put into an information system.putting the
acquired data into the information system.

1. Examples: the payroll clerk collects workers' so she knows how many hours each person work that week and
types the hours from the time cards into a spreadsheet
2. Using a form on a website to collect visitor's opinions
